Most professionals have been trained to be highly proficient in their field but have received very little training on how to relate to each patient as a person. The ability to relate to each patient based upon their wants, needs and desires, to recognize and lift them above their fears, is the decisive factor in building repeat and referral business. The doctor that builds a strong relationship of trust with each patient never needs to advertise. This six hour seminar is focused on understanding the inner motivations of each patient and relating to each person as an individual. You can be the best doctor in town but you will only be as successful as your ability to relate to your patients.
HOW TO CREATE A TRUST RELATIONSHIP
HOW TO HEAR WHAT THE PATIENT IS REALLY SAYING
HOW TO RECOGNIZE FEARS THAT CAUSE RESISTANCE TO TREATMENT
HOW TO BUILD VALUE IN YOUR PRACTICE AND SERVICE
HOW TO MAKE THE PATIENT KNOW YOU CARE
Your patient load will increase through repeat visits and referrals of friends and relatives when
you have built a trust relationship with each of your patients.
In my years of med school and practice I have realized the need for some training on relationship building. We expect our patients to trust us but we do not do much to build a relationship based upon their emotional needs. Often we hear how cold the doctor is or how distant, and that is an easy place to go in this profession.
Thanks for the insight of relationship tools that open up a trust relationship with my patents and their family members. I have had so much feedback from patients, their family’s and my staff on the difference since taking your course.
Dear Dr. Owens
Thank you for the tremendous insights into relating to each patient based upon their unique Wants, Needs, and Desires. It is easy to fall into the trap of treating everyone the same even though we know there are no two people just alike. To be able to read the psychological values of each patient as I am asking my standard examination questions has added a whole new dimension to my practice. Results have been great.
