The seminar will reveal methods to increase productivity while decreasing the debilitating effects of rivalry, friction and anxiety. It teaches simple psychological laws to secure respect and authority while managing employees or volunteers, thus helping them achieve more of their potential.

Most managers push rather than lead, which causes dissension in the ranks, a breakdown in communication, turn over in personnel and low productivity. Yet, most employees are looking for a leader that they can believe in, respect and follow. Companies do not need better employees or new managers, but all managers need to be trained to maximize their leadership abilities, develop more productive working relationships with each employee and recognize fears that create a breakdown in these relationships.

THE SEMINAR

The seminar is a 12 hour, two day session with teaching on the following subjects:

  • RELATING TO SUBORDINATES EMOTIONAL DRIVES
  • CREATING POSITIVE CHANGE
  • DECISION MAKING
  • USING RATHER THAN ABUSING AUTHORITY
  • RELATING TO THE INNER MOTIVATIONS OF PEOPLE
  • RECOGNIZE LEADERSHIP DEFICIENCIES
  • CREATING DESIRE IN EMPLOYEES TO ACHIEVE

The seminar is offered by itself in a one day session without the workshop for those organization that cannot release managers for two days. This seminar can be conducted in two evening sessions or on a weekend.

THE WORKSHOP

Role playing and discussion time is dedicated to put into practice the material offered in the seminar. Problems that management must deal with on a day to day basis are played out to a positive solution by small groups and the results of each groups work is presented. There is very little value to learning if that which is presented cannot be put into practice. This workshop is designed to give each participant skills in applying principles of leadership in the work place.

Feedback in the form of less turnover in personnel, less absenteeism, and less down time will be dividends of this study. The Direction In Management Seminar is a prerequisite to attending this one day workshop. This workshop can be offered in two evening sessions or on weekends.
